Some Facts about the Hampton Academy Players:
The Hampton Academy Players is the self-funded drama club
at Hampton Academy, founded in 1999-2000 school year.
Each
production involves 30+ students in grades 6-8 working as the cast and crew.
Productions
have included five full-length and four
one-act plays such as: “Our Town” (2000), Mystery Dinner Theatre (2003), “Alice in
Wonderland” (2004), and “Holes” (2007).
All proceeds
from ticket sales and other fundraisers go into the following year’s production
and improving the theater facilities at Hampton Academy.
